Lisa, Sabine & Cliff!

Sabine (nine months old!) was our very first baby onboard! She came from New Zealand with her parents, Lisa & Cliff to fish New Caledonia northern territories.

Many techniques will be tackled : flyfishing, jigging and lure fishing.

Cliff had much pleasure walking all over the flats with Laurent, tracking down big bones while Lisa enjoyed light tackle lure fishing with Olivier.

Then, our guests wanted to jig for doggies... We found them in a fishy stream, but both dogtooth tunas and sharks were merciless!! Lisa had a big doggy on, and couldn't do anything to stop its monster rush! Too hard, too many sharks!!... and Sabine doesn't appreciate drifts in the swell... let's go for popping behind the reef!! Coral trouts, barracudas, snappers, king mackerels and of course GT's have been nice opponents, and Lisa, in competition with Cliff, won the match with a nice 25/30kgs GT on 50lbs line!!

After lunches on the sand, observing turtles and birds, bathing and enjoying scenery, familly had to go back to New Zealand! Next trip will be 100% fishing!!
